IDS – INDUSTRIAL DRONE SERVICES has been active in the renewable energy sector in Greece since 2011.

In 2019 we developed our aerial inspection services and since 2020 we deliver specialized Wind Turbine Blade inspections with the use of drones. Our equipment and our proprietary & innovative flight platform enables us to deliver fast, accurate and detailed inspections.

IDS has a developed a workflow for tower inspection achieving 100% coverage of the tower surface and analyzing all the images for possible damages such as corrosion, oil leaks, cracks or deplacement on flanges, etc.

Our blade experts analyze the images and provide damage measurements as well its location on the tower.

NACELLE INSPECTION

The nacelle has multiple areas that need to be inspected thoroughly.

In IDS we inspect for damages on the bolts, cracks on the surface, oil leakage, damage to meteorological mast and equipment, and missing or worn-out parts and covers.

The data collection is consistent and images are captured from every angle.

IDS offers a wide range of services including pre-constuction survey, construction  monitoring and thermal & visual blade inspection.

We can assist our clients in making site reconnaissance by providing high definition point cloudsorthomosaics and digital surface models prior to the wind turbine installation.

Prior to commissioning we conduct full blade inspection with thermal and visual cameras creating baseline data as reference for future inspections.

After commissioning we can run preventive and emergency inspections for possible damages and failures on the blade.
